The Clinical Veterinarian works under the direct guidance of the Director of Lab Animal Medicine and in collaboration with senior staff to provide veterinary procedures that supports all aspects of veterinary care for the company’s animal care program. The Clinical Veterinarian assists the Director in the oversight of the animal care and use program. Clinical Veterinarians may supervise or oversee veterinary staff and manage the activities of the assigned program(s) to ensure effective performance. The Clinical Veterinarian ensures the animals are cared for in compliance with regulations and company policies, guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
